Out with the Old in with the New!

I've been an avid ork player for most of my player life time. Pretty much if it wasn't chaos, it was Orks. But with all things in this hobby, interest can wax and wane; which directly impacts my motivation and drive to get things done. 

Previously I spent a good chunk of time converting and painting a Deathskulls army. Since I stopped using it over a year ago it has languished until new purpose arose: BEAST SNAGGAS! The purpose however is to help fund the new additions to my collection! I thought I would share some pictures of the work I have done in the hours of inspiring more Meks to start the road to their own Waaaggh!!

My favorites are the converted Meks with Shokk Attack guns (necron power pack ftw) and my wrecker battlewagon converted with a scale model! 

Project log: World Eaters Defiler Conversion

I have it on good authority that blogs stopped being popular in 2012, which might account for why I never really got this one off the ground... 

Anyway, I'm going to try to document some of my hobby projects and hopefully some of you will find out helpful if maybe interesting...

I'm setting out to create a custom Defiler model for my World Eaters, because I hate the current model... 

You might have noticed that picture is hard to read, which is because all of the parts are 3d printed with a clear resin involved, which is basically impossible to photograph. 

The prints are a combination of purchased files and open source. I'm also still new to SLA printing and the prints are not perfect, but I feel confident that I can hobby them together. 

Wonky prints are chances for more customization!

VIII Legion -Warhammer 30k

Hello again,
I return from the dead with a peek at my current pursuits into the realm of the Horus Heresy. Thus far it has been most pressing and has given my the chance to create my favorite legion the Night Lords, as they should be played!

This is a few pictures of my work in progress Legion Praetor, the "Iron Ghoul". Comments and critiques are always welcome.

Well it turns out that I am not dead, but I have been out of the Loop so here is some catch-up Junk.

These are a pile of older models that I painted for the first Adepticon that I went too (2009 ish maybe?).  They are painted up as a Heritor Asphodel force from the Gaunt's Ghosts novels. Let me know what you think, comments/critiques welcome.

So I have been neglecting my blog a little... Ok a lot. However I have not been completely idle! Behold! I have for your viewing pleasure a selection of two of my Riptide conversions for the upcoming LVO GT. This force will be themed around kroot mercenaries with all the lizard-bird alien action I could muster!
